Did you see the news? Our own Kurt Hagemann, founder of Hagemann Wealth Management was interviewed and appeared in the April 1st edition of the Kane County Chronicle. Here’s a quick snapshot of the interview. Don’t worry, the link the full interview/article is at the bottom of this page!
Everywhere we look the media is giving us more bad news. The financial markets have been in disarray since the onslaught of COVID-19 (the coronavirus) here in the U.S. The financial frenzy has caused many investors to panic, but Kurt Hagemann is here to advise people to remain calm and consider their long-term investments.
“The information that the general public has been getting [about the financial markets] has not been helpful,” Hagemann said. “You’re seeing a lot of headlines about the markets crashing without any reasoning behind it and any follow-up as to what investors should be doing. People should be thinking about how this impacts their future.”
Much of what is happening in the stock markets right now is a result of emotion-backed decisions. Having a solid financial plan in place is key to making it through times of uncertainty.
